**Skills Required**:

- Organised and tidy

- Confident using/servicing plant machinery

- Towing License

**Responsibilities**
- Taking in checking deliveries and ensuring all is intact and correct
- Maintaining a tidy and organised yard, barn, woodshed as well as other outside areas
- Loading and unloading vans/canters in readiness for collection
- Operating forklift, Avants and other machinery
- Manual handling & lifting
- Maintaining the yard, ensuring that its tidy, safe and secure
- Systemisation of equipment in/out of yard in conjunction with office

**Vehicle & plant machinery management;**
- Use of tracking software, ensuring all vehicles/machinery are maintained and compliant
- Keeping up to date on current legal requirements for plant machinery, lifting machinery and towing and instigating any requirements necessary
- Carry out vehicle checks and organise any repairs that are required in a timely manner
- Arrangement & transportation of vehicles for MOT and servicing
- Plant machinery and equipment maintenance, checking that when returned they are in full working order prior to being ready for use again
- Organise all servicing required for machinery/vehicles/equipment and keep accurate records, making sure office is always up to date and informed
- Carrying out checks of Yard Vehicles and Machinery whilst keeping accurate paper-based records

**Hours of Work**

Minimum contracted 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7.30 - 4pm.

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
