Production Operative

Quest Employment Luton are recruiting for warehouse operatives for one of our clients in Leighton Buzzard. This client is an award-winning UK market leader in the production of branded confectionery for promotional campaigns, events and product launches.
Main Duties will include:
- Ensure a clean, healthy and safe work environment
- Complete daily start up checks and log this on daily start up sheet
- Set up machines and ensure they are in proper working order
- Ensure that the line runs according to assigned production quantity and speed
- Inspect and remove defective products
- Verify and adjust product weight or measurement to meet specifications
- Maintain machines as a team with Finlay Goyen
- Understand and to be able to effectively run the chocolate lines
Your shift for this role will be from Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00. This company is easily accessible via public transport from Luton Town Centre. We will ensure you know which buses to take.

- Problem solving skills

- To be able to work standing for long periods
- Willingness to learn
- Good time management skills
- Judgement and using your initiative
- Able to plan, organize and schedule machine operations in sync with production
- Skilled at repairing and maintaining equipment
