Our client is a growing, forward thinking warranty provider who people the priority in everything they do.

They are interested to hear from warranty surveyors, technical construction surveying experts, site managers or Clerk of Works who would be interested in joining their growing surveying team to assist in delivering a quality service to developers throughout the UK.

This role will cover most of the North of England from around Leeds up to boarders so a willigness to travel is essential. All travel is carried out within working hours.

The Role
- Represent the client and associated companies as a key Client contact throughout the region and act as key ambassador
- Run designated projects (including new build, refurbishment & conversion and mixed-use developments) from inception to completion (with support from other team members as necessary), including attendance on-site and at meetings, inputting vital advice and support to the developer’s team.
- Play a pivotal role in the risk management process for Client construction sites + develop expert and creative solutions to challenging construction problems.
- Liaise with Designers, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors and Site Management Teams to achieve quality, defect-free completed units fit for insurance and occupation.
- Using surveying tools, record defects, discuss solutions with Site Teams, take full photographic schedules of defects and site practices, prepare & distribute reports.
- Assist Underwriting Team with technical assessment of Developers, Builders, Designers and Contractors as necessary.
- Provide technical advice and support as required, providing solutions to ensure quality, defect-free build (supported by the technical team and line management).
- Develop new contacts and relationships with existing contacts & new clients in order to secure new work stream for the client and associated companies.
- Assist Technical Director and Regional Manager in the development of the risk management service delivery across the UK.
- You will be an experienced construction inspection professional, either a surveyor, site manager or clerk of works.
- A relevant qualification (BEng, BSc, HND, HNC or equivalent) may be an advantage.
- An eagerness to work towards a formal professional qualification / membership (CIOB, RICS, MIStructE, MICE, MCABE, CEng etc).

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
