Ministars Cornflake is offering a fantastic opportunity of an apprenticeship to join our Luton Team. We are looking for a hard working, motivated, enthusiastic, caring and friendly individual with a positive attitude.

You will train alongside a team of long standing qualified staff at an outstanding childcare setting to achieve your Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare.

As a trainee nursery practitioner you are a key member of the nursery team responsible for delivering high quality care and learning opportunities for children, based on their needs and interests. Some of the duties will include:

- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
- Ensure the health and safety and well-being of the children is promoted at all times;
- Support the children's development, learning and play.
- Be a key person for a small group of children, carrying out all related responsibilities and building relationships with them and their families.
- Providing an inspiration to the nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating the EYFS.

**The following are also desirable but not essential **
- To have worked with under 5's in a nursery environment.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Possess some knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
- Planning skills /experience.
- Holds a current DBS
- Paediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding Children
