**About The Role**:
**This role is to cover various sites across Edinburgh and Musselburgh.**

**You will be contracted to work 3 nights per week but will be expected to work additional nights when required.**

**Key responsibilities of a Nightshift Bus Cleaning Operative**

- Cleaning the coaches and buses to best quality
- Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor; seats and luggage racks and driver’s cabin
- Checking vehicle for any lost property
- Wiping down all armrests, window sills and trays
- Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
- Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required)
- Buckle up all seat belts, Mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath
- Wiping Overhead luggage racks and foot rests
- Cleaning Coach toilets
- Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle
- Touch Point Cleaning

**Key requirements for a Bus Cleaning Operative**
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
- Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
- A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
