Social workers are based in the schools with the aim of working closely with pastoral staff and students to help develop closer working relationships. Although based in the school, social workers remain partof Croydon Children's Services and are line managed within the SWiS team. The Social Workers undertake a range of work:* Statutory social work for children that attend the school* Providing advice and guidance to pastoral staff* Drop ins for students* Groupwork* Brief and early intervention support for studentsWe are looking for social workers to be based at Norbury High School for Girls and Meridian High. Successful candidates must be able to work from these schools during the school term.
