**What you'll be doing**
As an Apprentice Highways Maintenance Technician you'll be inspecting the AWPR O&M network as required by the contract for carriageway condition, drainage, verges, street lighting, signs etc.

You'll assess and inspect the AWPR network following incident damage and determine any necessary actions to restore the network to pre-damage condition.

Working closely with the Section Engineer and Management as required for management of all matters relating to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality legislature. Additionally, you will coordinate and notify of planned and emergency roadworks.
**Who we're looking for**
For our Graduate-Level Apprenticeship, you’ll need 3 Scottish Highers at grades BBC or above. Alternatively, you may hold an NC in Civil Engineering.

This programme offers a mix of practical experience and theoretical learning, with a focus on more technical or specialized roles to help you build expertise.
