The PMO Specialist will be aligned to a large complex customer-facing project or programme. This role will be operating across an entire portfolio or business/function area where multiple programmes and projects are being delivered.

The role supports a high performing delivery team to enable successful delivery of projects and programmes (and their associated benefits) to time, cost and quality, within risk profile.

This is a predominantly on-site role, however there is some flexibility to work from home, at a minimum once a week.

**What You'll Do**:

- Ensure the effective running of the Delivery Methodology and Governance regime
- Facilitates the development and maintenance of the programme and project plans and dependency logs.
- Identify planning issues and trends and recommend and implement solutions.
- Manage and improve the communication plan for the programme ensure that key information is provided to the required stakeholders by the team on time and to the required quality.
- Ensure the effective running of the Risk Management process
- Ensure the effective running of the Change Management process
- Some travel may be required to customer site, so flexibility to travel would be required

**Who you are**
- Experience working in a PMO capacity is required
- Extensive experience in management reporting techniques and processes, and performance metrics
- Broad understanding of financial controls, project accounting and benefits realisation process
- Excellent planning & organisational skills
- P3O qualification is desirable
- Prior Waterfall delivery experience is desirable
