**Brief Role Description**:
We’re supporting our client, who are now in the market for a CNC Setter to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- To schedule job loading on cell.
- To complete tool setting/changeover for every production run.
- To monitor production runs, addressing any first line problems and performing first line maintenance as required.
- To arrange and load jobs for subcontract heat treatment and coating.
- To manage and replace raw material in a way that ensures traceability.
- To perform all health and safety checks on equipment daily.
- To ensure all machinery, equipment & designated work area is kept clean and tidy, completing weekly clean down of machinery.
- To maintain all machinery, tools and equipment in a working order.
- To perform all QC checks on parts as directed.
- To keep all files up to date with current settings’ sheets, material details, QC sheets and contact details.
- To perform regular stock control of consumables (lubricants and tooling dies) and inform Procurement when raw materials and spares parts are required.
- To support the Engineering team with the completion of risk assessments.
- To continuously improve manufacturing processes, utilising the 5S methodology, that ensure fast, efficient and cost-effective production.

**About You**:

- Understanding of mechanical systems.
- Experience of using precision measuring equipment - Vernier calipers, gauges, visual CMM.
- Practical problem-solver
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible
- Able to manage demanding workload
- Driven for continuous improvement
- Proficient in IT
- Understanding of cold form/press tooling.
- Be an effective team player
- Develop leadership skills in you and others
- Maintain workplace and dress code protocol
- Maintain vehicle protocol
- Maintain communication in your team, with other teams, with your manager
- The post holder is expected to be professional, co-operative and flexible in line with needs of the post, department and the needs of the business.
- Qualification in Business Improvement Techniques or equivalent.
- Counterbalance licence or willingness to study towards it, driving licence.
