**Job purpose**

As a Housekeeping Linen operative, you are an essential part of our team, and you will assist the Housekeeping Cleaning Operatives in servicing accommodation units to excellent company standards. Your main responsibility will be bed making including the collection and delivery of linen across all units of the Resort. We will also expect you to sort and separate used linen to return to our main Housekeeping department.

The key focus being maintaining excellent customer service and care whilst managing health and safety within the workplace. You will support the Company’s mission and objectives through compliance to Policies and Procedures.

**The business**

Searles Leisure Resort is a part of the Searles Leisure Group. Searles is a family run company and has grown over the years into a highly successful business. The Resort consists of over 360 Owners, 150 hire fleet and over 200 tourer and tent pitches and is based south of Hunstanton. There are many facilities at Searles, including a large Clubhouse and Restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and an 18- and 9-hole golf course. Searles is graded 5 stars by Visit England and is the Norfolk and Suffolk Camping/Glamping and Holiday Park winner for 2020.

Heacham Manor Hotel is also part of the Searles Leisure Group. Heacham Manor Hotel welcomes Golfers, Hotel Guests looking for a tranquil country getaway, weddings, events and much more making it one of the leading 3-star Hotels in the area.

**Hourly**: up to £11.50 per hour

**Contract & Hours of Work**

Part-time, 12- hours per week (yearly average) including bank holiday working.

Work days: Monday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3 pm

Please note, we are a 7-day a week operation in the peak periods. Some shifts will include split shifts, weekends, evenings, and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.

**Job responsibilities**
- Bed Making as per department procedure and standard.
- Collecting and delivering linen across all accommodation units.
- Sort and separate used or insufficient linen.
- Removal and transportation of used or insufficient linen to main housekeeping department.
- Building linen/bed packs, sorting linen and cleaning work space afterwards.
- Assist in maintaining the resort accommodation with cleaning duties including:

- Mopping and vacuuming of floors
- Dusting
- Washing up
- General cleaning of units including bathrooms and kitchens
- Cleaning facilities
- Other cleaning & Housekeeping duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous professional cleaning experience desirable
- COSHH Awareness (training will be given)
