**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in planning and conducting worship services, including leading prayers and readings.
- Educate congregants through various programmes, workshops, and classes that promote spiritual growth and understanding.
- Engage with the community by organising events that foster connection and outreach.
- Provide support during counselling sessions for individuals or families in need.
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of church activities.
- Communicate effectively with congregants regarding church events, initiatives, and spiritual guidance.
- Participate in public speaking engagements to represent the church at community events or gatherings.

**Skills**
- Strong ability to educate others in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficient in dance or other expressive arts is a plus, enhancing the worship experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with diverse audiences.
- Public speaking experience is essential for leading services and representing the church in various settings.
- A compassionate approach to pastoral care and community engagement is highly valued.

Pay: £22,841.00 per year
