Yorkshire Ambulance Service has an excellent opportunity for a enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Estates Team. With the continuing investment in the Estate portfolio we are looking to appoint an experienced Estates Project Officer to assist the Capital Project Manager in the delivery of numerous and varied work schemes through the Yorkshire region Your main role will be to develop the scope of works for individual projects, tender the works, and manage contracts/schemes through to completion and handover. You will be educated to a minimum HNC level/professional qualification in a building/engineering discipline and use your extensive experience to deliver project work streams. Applicants should have an adaptable, flexible approach to work and be able to demonstrate that they can work very well within a team, as well as being able to use their own initiative.

The post holder will assist the Estates Project Manager in the delivery and development of a professional design and project management service for Capital and Revenue Schemes in accordance with the established project management assurance framework.

The Estates Project Officer will assist the Estates Project Manager with the Capital and Revenue projects across Yorkshire Ambulance Service from programme to design, development and implementation of major and minor schemes. The Estates Project Officer will be responsible for the design and development of minor schemes from inception through to construction. The jobholder must liaise with appropriate levels of staff throughout the Trust and interface with private consultants.
