Whether you’re a qualified Bus Driver or want to become one, our dedicated in-house Training Academy, are ready to welcome you to our team and teach you everything you need to know.

**This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours a week.**

**Salary**

Training hourly rate of **£12.50**

Qualified hourly rate of **£13.82** (Monday to Friday)

Enhanced rates on the weekend of up to **£18.01**

**The role**

We are looking for people with a full UK Drivers Licence, with passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will also be required to,
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as necessary.
- Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.

**What you need**
- Hold a full UK drivers’ licence for at least 12 months.
- Must be a regular confident driver.
- Familiar with the Cardiff area
- Previous experience as a bus driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Must be reliable and punctual.

For Health and Safety reasons we have some restrictions relating to the weight of a driver. Due to the manufacturer’s guidelines for cab seats. Therefore, our upper weight limit is 20 stone.
