Are you looking to start your career in care? Or perhaps you need part time hours to fit flexibly around your other commitments? You could be looking for a new role which is fulfilling and a fresh start. If any of these sound like you, we would like to hear from you.

**Your Role**

The REaCH service places person centred care at the heart of everything we do, recognising the strengths of the Stockport residents who we support. The role of a Reablement Support Worker is to support people in their own home 365 days a year who are at risk of needing social care or an increased intensity of care to regain functioning, maintain life skills, rebuild their confidence, and promote wellbeing. The role also provides a stepping stone to independence, by supporting people to regain lost skills, learn new skills, and adapt to the challenges that living independently can present.

**About You**

It doesn't matter whether you have previous experience or not, but if you want to help people, the role of enhanced support worker/reablement support worker could be for you.

Please note you will need to be able to commit to full time (35 hours) in the first month due to training and induction schedules.

If you enjoy working as part of a team, but are also able to work independently, this may be the job for you We will also offer you training and support to be able to do the following tasks:

- Provide all types of personal care to people we support and make sure they are safe, comfortable and feel they have been treated with dignity and respect whilst they achieve their goals
- Write clearly and accurately in-service users daily records
- Safely administer medication as prescribed
- Follow our policies and procedures that keep you and the people we support safe

**Applicants to this role must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.**

**Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this can only be used for certain roles and this campaign does not qualify.**

- A permanent contract with a Choice of shift patterns to suit you
- Comprehensive induction, training and mentoring programme
- Blue light eligibility
