I am working with an FE College based in London who are looking for a Interim Director of Curriculum (SEND) to come and join their team.

The college is looking for an Director of SEND who can provide inspirational leadership in improving teaching, learning and assessment to ensure a high-quality student experience and outstanding outcomes for learners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take a strategic lead in the development of curriculum areas across all campuses ensuring that innovative and cost-effective models of delivery are developed and introduced which enable high levels of student success and positive destinations.
- Contribute to and support the work of the College SLT across all sites of the organisation and drive up professional expectations and standards to delivery an outstanding learner experience.
- To provide leadership and direction on the management and improvement of the Curriculum Directorate and delivery teams within the designated provision. Develop the work and lead the department to address student learning requirements that underpin excellentteaching, learning, assessment via the effective deployment of an excellent staff team and support framework.
- In partnership with relevant local authorities, develop and drive the College strategy for SEND provision and drive the development and growth of funded learning opportunities and supported internships.
- To provide oversight, direction and leadership to the management and funding of ALS and high needs in liaison with the Local Authorities.
- Grow and develop the areas in line with agreed growth targets and within deadlines. Create a curriculum which is matched to local and regional employment needs and has strong and well-established employer and other stakeholder links, coordinating, leadingand cooperating with the student experience team

**Rate** - Negotiable
