**Assistant Head Baker - Production**

**£35,000 - £40,000 per annum**

**Full Time 40 hours P/W**

**5 shifts across Monday - Sunday from 5:00pm to 1:30am**

We are looking for an Assistant Head Baker to join a Bakery team based at a Cotswolds Head Office, near Chipping Norton.
- This is a hands-on role for an experienced Artisan Baker.
- You will be second-in-command and running the unit in the Head Baker's absence.
- Some managerial experience would be beneficial, but first and foremost, we are looking for a hard-working individual with personality and a passion for GREAT BREAD.

**The role**:

- To manage the team in the absence of the Head Baker
- To oversee the execution of all baked products as per company specifications
- To ensure that all Bakery preparation is completed in a timely and professional manner
- To adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
- To contribute to the award-winning standard of all products
- To propose and develop new products to deliver exciting innovation to our consumers
- To prepare, weigh and measure all ingredients ready for production
- To ensure that all food production duties are carried out with care and diligence to guarantee the production
- Working safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed
- To comply with the production unit’s internal audit requirements
- To aid the Bakery Manager in the fulfilment of the production unit’s annual financial/budgetary targets
- To assist in the line management, development, and motivation of the Bakery team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
