**About the role** The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is a key role within our technology team, an Azure Engineer that supports our HCM Cloud optimisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Looking after the pre-production and production environments through taking a holistic approach to monitoring and system health.
- Continuously looking for ways to improve the reliability, performance, quality and speed of deployment of Zellis software solutions.
- Measuring and optimising system performance.
- Providing a proactive support function to the deployment and operations teams.
- Working to departmental service levels by achieving individual targets and objectives.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Demonstrable experience (five years+) within software development/technical support roles.
- Experience with ADO Pipeline Development, BASH Scripting, Powershell Scripting, Azure CLI, HELM.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform and associated resources including Keyvaults, Storage Areas, AKS Clusters, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, API Management, Front Door, Azure Firewall.
- Additional desirable skills include:

- SQL Server DBA or similar role.
- Performance Tuning and Optimisation (PTO).
- SAML/LDAP/Single Sign On technologies.
- Infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, SolarWinds, Oracle Statspack, etc.
- Automation Technologies such as BluePrism.
- Willingness to learn and understand the infrastructure that makes up the Zellis environments.
- Demonstrates good communication skills (verbal and written), with a confident style.
- Organised, conscientious, with a good level of attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to identifying solutions to problems, areas for improvement and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Is always client centric, appreciating the expectations of our customers.
- Flexible and adaptable.
