The Logistics Intern will play a crucial role in assisting the logistics team with key operational tasks, including order coordination, inventory tracking, and reporting. This internship offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations, providing exposure to logistics planning, third-party logistics (3PL) provider collaboration, and inventory management. The role supports the logístical flow of finished goods across traditional retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring smooth operations for deliveries and warehouse replenishments.

**What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?**

This role supports logistics efficiency by assisting with key operational processes, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, and maintaining effective communication between internal teams and 3PL providers. By supporting daily logistics functions, the Logistics Intern helps sustain service levels, ensure product availability, and drive process improvements that contribute to an agile and effective supply chain.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- **Inbound Order Support**: Assist in coordinating inbound shipments of finished goods into the 3PL warehouse, ensuring proper alignment with carriers and internal teams.
- ** Order Processing Assistance**: Support order monitoring and tracking, helping to identify discrepancies and ensure orders meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- ** Inventory Monitoring**: Assist in inventory control tasks, including stock level checks and updates in relevant systems.
- ** Logistics Reporting**: Support with daily reports and analysis on stock levels, order statuses, and shipment performance.
- ** Packaging & Repacking Support**: Assist in coordinating packaging material needs and repacking activities
- ** Blocked Stock Documentation**: Help track and document blocked stock for destruction
- ** Stakeholder Communication**: Maintain clear communication with internal teams and 3PL providers to align on logistics Activities and resolve operational challenges.
- ** Process Improvement Contribution**: Observe current logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose potential improvements.

**What are we looking for?**
- Basic knowledge of supply chain processes, particularly order fulfilment and inventory management (academic or internship experience is acceptable).
- Familiarity with logistics operations and working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Experience using office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data management and reporting.
- Basic understanding of ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, D365, or similar).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree. Supply chain/logistics or related fields are advantageous
- No prior professional experience required; previous internships or coursework in supply chain/logistics are advantageous.
- Exposure to e-commerce logistics processes.
- Awareness of sustainability practices in logistics.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.
