**Solutions Architect - Pre Sales**

Our client is one of the UK’s great tech success stories. Founded in 2016, a year later raising a $22 million Series A, the largest AI round in Europe that year, they recently announced a further successful funding round.

We are seeking an experienced customer facing Technical Solutions Architect / CX Lead Engineer who has a background in software solutions (preferably developer tools) and has a passion for helping customers with architecting Technical Solutions.

You will be expected to readily empathise with customers using environments such as the Spring Framework as well as understanding the internals of how these systems are put together.

**The Solutions Architect will have**:

- Experience of working in a customer facing role (pre sales or post sales)
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience of working with a product focussed organisation
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in particular with customers and internal Developer teams
- Knowledge of test-driven development and a CI/CD setup will be beneficial, ditto Java knowledge

**A flavour of the challenge**:

- Lead the Customer Experience, reporting to Head of Product and managing the CX team
- Lead the pre and post sales technical process to ensure they understand the customer’s challenges, present product(s) to the customer and identify the potential opportunities they can leverage on
- Understand the customer’s (software developers) needs and identify if and how the product needs to be modified to meet the customer needs
- Use your knowledge in developer tools (preferably Java), to help deliver valuable evaluations for customers, coaching them in best practices and diagnosing issues in the deployment
- Interact with business stakeholders, customers and management to understand and refine user stories and the product backlog
- Have a passion for innovation and improvement whilst recognizing that customer outcomes are always king
