**The role**
- Contact suppliers and negotiating prices for parts and materials
- Agreeing lead times with suppliers and chasing up on any late deliveries
- Monitoring stock levels
- Liaising with production supervisors and stores supervisors on stock requirements
- Handling GRN and booking parts in and issuing parts out of stock
- Forecasting price trends and monitoring market demand
- Ensuring prices agreed match invoices and dispute any discrepancies
- Attend weekly meetings and update accordingly on any delays on parts and materials
- Source alternative suppliers and ensuring product quality is up to required standard
- Other relevant duties
**Essential Criteria**
- At least 1 years (+) experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
