Credit Controller - Healthcare - Salary £27,000 - £33,000

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our General ledger Accounting and Financial control team within UKGI Finance with a focus on Large Corporate policies within the Healthcare business.

A bit about the job:
This role will report to the Billing and Collections manager and will be responsible for credit control activities within the Healthcare billing and collections function for Large Corporate clients working closely with customer facing business teams and the finance and business partner functions.

This includes taking ownership of credit control for all invoices raised, debt management and reporting activities - issuing 10 day notices, place clients on Claims On Hold (COH) etc, and production of associated balance sheet reconciliations. Whilst also supporting system testing/commissioning, managing stakeholder queries and payment allocations.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Core finance knowledge including general ledger accounting and systems.
- A part qualified Accountant or qualified by experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven track record of adhering to deadlines with a strong understanding of Risk Management and control frameworks.
- Strong Excel skills.

What you’ll get for this role:

- Starting salary between £27,000 and £33,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
