Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Psychology students or graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in our Primary and SEN schools in Bristol. We are looking for students and graduates who are available either full time or part time alongside your studies. All we ask is that you are keen on supporting children, either in a SEN school as a General TA or providing 1:1 support within a mainstream primary school. Pay rate is between £70 and £85 per day

The schools we work with cater for pupils in Primary ages and they urgently require large numbers of temporary staff with a Psychology background to work as Teaching Assistants with their pupils to enable their learning and emotional support in and outside the classroom. To be considered for these temporary roles the ability to engage and build rapport using Psychology knowledge and academic background is essential. If you currently study psychology or a related degree or have experience working in Psychology, Mental health, Neuroscience/Counselling and can use your understanding of child psychology, emotional development, and various psychological and special educational needs, please contact us immediately as we have a huge demand from our schools for Teaching assistants with these skills.

**We are looking for**:

- Experience working with primary aged pupils (preferable)
- Someone who can communicate effectively & is confident working with children
