As a Laboratory Courier, you’ll help ensure the water we supply to our customers is wholesome and meets both our own and regulatory quality standards.

You won’t need any previous experience. What’s more important is that you’re well organised and logical in your approach. You can rest assured that we’ll provide all of the training you need. It’s your attention to detail that will ensure all paperwork and electronic records are accurately completed and samples are transported precisely as they are meant to be to meet all regulatory and company standards.

In this role, you’ll complete rounds to collect samples and courier then safely to their destination. As we’re a commercial operation, you’ll show that your great speaking to customers when collecting and delivering items. When completing shorter rounds, you’ll also provide general assistance within the laboratory, tidying up stock, labelling samples, unloading samples.

Ideally, you’ll be local to the Hampshire County or within travelling distance to our Farnborough laboratory. You’ll be completing collection runs that include offices in Kent, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Birmingham. Your collection rounds will generally be completed between 9-5 depending on the run you’re assigned and traffic conditions. Therefore, some flexibility is needed to cover our operating hours between 7am-7pm.

We’ll give you access to a Company vehicle to use for collecting samples. There’s often the availability to work additional overtime to help boost your earnings.

**Main responsibilities**:

- You’ll ensure the timely collection of water samples from company and clients premises and for transporting these back to our laboratory in Farnborough.
- You’ll update our electronic system to register samples, ensuring details and tests are entered correctly and completely.
- You’ll ensure to adhere to the methods, procedures, quality systems and H&S requirements set out within the laboratory.
- You’ll provide assistance to other areas of Laboratory Services e.g. bottle preparation; stock control

**You'll need**:

- A valid driving licence is essential
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
- Good customer service
