Group Financial Analyst

We are exclusively recruiting for a well-established Financial Services business based in Bolton who are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their ever growing team.
Joining the FP&A function you will be involved in producing financial monthly and quarterly consolidated reports for the board as well as being responsible for budget and forecasting process of the group, and all other financial analysis to provide the boardwith a clear vision to allow informed strategic decision making.
The business is going from strength to strength and this position will see them involved in M&A and integration alongside functional financial processes, analysis and system development. The company is continuing to go through new acquisitions so it’s a brillianttime to join.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve and automate current reports
- Acting as Finance Business Partner to other teams within the organisation
- Analysis of results, including understanding of variances to prior period actual results and budgets
- Assisting with preparation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts for group
- Assisting M&A activity for the group
- Reviewing and analysing the management accounts and implementing the required accounting adjustments
- Lead further development of newly embedded financial planning system.
- Become a superuser of current systems
- Working with the wider Group Finance team to continue to improve controls and processes
The business is currently operating a hybrid working model and will continue to do so going forward.
