**JOB- Toolmaker**
**LOCATION- Middlesex**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE**We are looking for Toolmaker on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area with experience in manufacture of Injection Mould tools. The main duties will be to repair, modify and maintain existing production tooling.**The Toolmaker will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Experienced or apprentice time served
- Comfortable with EDM techniques
- Read Technical Engineering drawings
- CNC shop experience beneficial
- Abrasive wheels regulation certified
- Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
- Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
- Excellent attention to detail

**The Toolmaker role will involve**:

- Repairing, modifying & maintaining existing production tooling
- Operate all tooling & equipment safely
- Use of milling machines, lathes & grinders
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness
- Producing work with high quality surface finish
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure correct labelling of tools
- Good housekeeping to 5S standards
- Log completed tool maintenance and repair to databases
