**Location**: Redbridge Cycling Centre, Forest Road, Hainault, IG6 3HP.

Located in Hainault, Redbridge Cycling centre is a state of the art purpose built cycling centre that has various types of tracks including Road, BMX and off road. The centre welcomes all abilities cyclist from beginners, families as well as competitive riders. The site has qualified British Cycling Coaches on site to assist from customers learning to ride right through to competing at competition level. The centre also has a large range of hiring bikes as well as a workshop for repairs and service.

The team is currently looking for passionate Recreation Assistants to help maintain the day-to-day success cycling Centre. With a passion for cycling and wanting to be part of a dedicate team as a Recreation Assistant you will help the centre encourage and maintain a thriving community of cyclist.

**Responsibilities**:

- To work on a shift rota system.
- To be aware of all Health & Safety issues within the Centre, to constantly implement and assess procedures drawing attention to any unsafe practices.
- To set up for functions and events.
- To develop a friendly and efficient working relationship with the people who use the Centre.
- To work as part of a team to achieve the income and usage targets of the Centre.
- To undertake cleaning duties to ensure the facility are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness and comfort.
- To work as part of a team, or independently as the situation demands, support other team members and provide cover as required.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience of working within the Leisure Industry.
- To have a keen interest in cycling.
- First Aid qualification.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.95 per hour
