**HOURS**: 09.30am-17.30pm

**SALARY**: £22,000-£25,000* Depending on experience

**A bit about the company & role**:
Our client is seeking an Events & Team Assistant to join their calm and hardworking team They are Britain's leading forum for the dialogue and discussion of issues affecting the office sector. Their aim is to investigate, develop and interconnect best practice.They are a small team of 9 people and they work within a quiet and professional environment.

**DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO**:

- Aiding the team with day-to-day administration
- Handle enquiries from company members both on the phone and via the website
- Provide administrative support to the Research & Events Teams where possible
- Assist the PA with office management and administrative support for the Chief Executive
- Managing social media platforms
- Arrange and manage meetings for the Committees: coordinating dates & venues and communicating details to the relevant committee members
- Managing the order process, ensuring all publications are sent out by post on the date of ordering
- Managing the research archive, coordinating the delivery and collection of research publications and coordinate the annual audit process
- Handling any queries relating to event bookings and payment issues
- Ensure new reports and publications are added to the website

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent*
- Some experience of working within an office environment is an advantage
- Excellent organisation skills and experience using data bases (sound knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential)
- Keen eye for events, social media, administration and office support
- A professional individual with a friendly and approachable manner, with a clear telephone manner
- The ability to work as part of a team with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Someone who is punctual and presentable
- The capacity to work under pressure on several projects at the same time and to deadline, excellent prioritisation skills are essential
- Keen and eager to embrace the world of working, with a practical and open-minded approach
