Assistant Psychologist Older Adults Psychology

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologist who has excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with people.
Under supervision, the post-holder will gain experience of working into Older People’s Community Mental Health Teams, Memory Assessment Services and/or Acute/Inpatient settings.
The posts will be attached to qualified Clinical Psychologists, who will provide supervision and clinical oversight. Knowledge and experience of working clinically with Older Adults or with people living with dementia, understanding of neuropsychological assessment, and psychological assessment and interventions would be of advantage. There will also be opportunities to learn skills within the posts. The posts may also involve supporting service evaluations, audits, and projects. You will be expected to contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and other meetings as appropriate.
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
