An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Buyer to join the procurement team within a leading manufacturing business. This position is based in Wombourne and is offered at a salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.

Role responsibilities of the Senior Buyer:

- Sourcing and procuring electronic components
- Leading supplier reviews and monitoring
- Arranging agreements and contracts with strategic suppliers
- Negotiation of terms and prices to ensure a positive outcome for the business
- Supporting the Technical team with new product introduction

Personal specification of the Senior Buyer:

- Experience with procuring electronic components
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent IT usage ability, including Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Able to time-manage and prioritise effectively
- A driven and motivated professional

This position will be suited to you if you have held a role as a: Buyer, Senior Buyer, Strategic Buyer, Category Buyer, Category Manager, Commodity Manager, Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Specialist or similar.
