We are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic warehouse operative to join our small team on the edge of Exeter. This is a permanent role with the opportunity to grow within the business. We require someone to support all aspects of the day to day running of the warehouse operations.

Due to the type of products we pack and ship (furniture & home accessories) the individual needs to have very good attention to detail for quality checking and accurate packing to ensure we provide excellent customer service. It is also important that they have a basic level of carpentry skills as some fixing and assembling furniture will be required.

Good team working skills are very important due to the size of the team but also self motivation and the ability to work independently as you will be the main packer on these days.

**Roles**
- Pick and packing daily orders.
- Receive and process shipments and check returns.
- Keeping the warehouse organised; to include assisting with stock takes and rotation.
- General warehouse housekeeping roles
- Unloading large shipments and palletising orders.
- Occasional admin duties, including processing orders and producing labels for the couriers.
- Fixing and assembling wooden furniture.
- Working closely with the admin team to ensure smooth running of the warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Someone who can lend a hand to assembling furniture, fixing and mending with metal and wood.
- Good time management and working to shipment deadlines.
- You need to be physically fit and able to safely lift and stack heavy items.
- Strong communication skills and a good level of English.
- Good IT skills.
- Due to location of the business, your own car is needed to get to and from work.
