Pink Tile Education are actively recruiting for a supply Learning Support Assistant to support individual needs (1:1) for some of our fantastic schools in Steyning. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for your designated young person to engage and enjoy the core curriculum and other activities.

We have many schools signed up for our supply service, so we are always looking for wonderful learning support assistants. We tend to take bookings from schools in advance so that our learning support assistants know their availability, but we also work hard with schools to fill suddenly vacant classes with brilliant learning support assistants to cover. If you are looking to gain valuable experience around local schools, we would love to hear from you.

£76 per day minimum (£11.68 per hour).

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one
- Resilience
- Understanding vulnerable young people & how to approach sensitive situations
- Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
- Confident working with children & young people in SEN/SEMH
- Experience working with children & young people (desired)
- Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support class teacher
- Support the pupils with their tasks/activities & wellbeing
- Understand the individual needs of each student & adapt the approach accordingly
