**2nd Line Support IT Technician**

**Location: Tring, (HP23)**

**Salary: £30,000+ DOE.**

**Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday.**

**Training will be provided where necessary (in-house/external courses.)**

**The Client;**

Our client is local one stop IT Solutions firm based in Hertfordshire and are looking to expand their team with a **2nd Line support technician**.

**The Role**:
This stimulating role involves building the position as the company grows and so offers excellent career progression. You will be the customers’ first point of contact for support and thus form an integral and very important part of the team. Your abilityto quickly diagnose reported issues is central to maintaining high level of service. This is an office-based role.

**Duties**:

- Setup and installation of systems,
- Maintaining and monitoring clients’ infrastructure
- It is a varied and exciting role that covers many aspects of IT service provision in addition to supporting the client.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a similar second line support role
- Knowledge of and experience in: Windows clients - installing and imaging, joining to domain and network, user profiles.
- Windows Server - Active Directory, Group Policy, shared folders, NTFS permissions
- Networking - IPv4, switches, Microsoft 365
- Anti-virus and firewall experience an advantage.
- Exchange administration would be beneficial.
- Previous 2nd Line Support role or experience of 2 years minimum
