Corvus People are partnering with a leading manufacturing company who is seeking a dedicated Materials Planner to play a crucial role in their manufacturing operations. As a Materials Planner, you'll be an essential part of their supply chain team, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support production processes.

**What you’ll be doing**:
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements based on production schedules and customer demands.

You will maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent disruptions and minimise excess stock.

You’ll monitor supplier performance and negotiate terms to ensure timely delivery of materials.

You’ll analyse data and trends to make informed decisions regarding inventory management and procurement.

You’ll implement efficient inventory control strategies to optimise costs and improve overall efficiency.

**What you’ll have**:
2+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or related fields, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using relevant software tools and MRP/ERP systems.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration.

Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in forecasting and inventory management.
