**The role**:
**Contract Type**: Permanent, Full Time

**Hours of work**: 37.5 hours per week

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

**Place of work**: On-site at our Head Office in Ely

The is a key role with duties to include:

- Creating and/or arranging samples of finished products developed by the NPD team for the Sales team
- Maintaining the schedule of completion dates for all tasks associated with the ‘NPD Samples Request’ process
- Liaising with and providing support to our third-party suppliers during all flavour development projects
- Creating supporting documentation utilised to train our Sales team for new product or ingredient launches
- Maintaining commercial reports to track the progress of samples production within the department
- Supporting the Sales team with on-site Innovation/NPD meetings
- Providing ad-hoc support, practical or operational assistance to the NPD, Marketing and Sales team
- Hosting internal samples tasting sessions
- Cleaning the NPD kitchen in accordance with the Operations Manual.
- Responding to daily enquiries from other Depts. in a timely manner
- Answering the telephone etc. during trading hours

**The requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have nutritional knowledge and/or nutritional qualification along with a passion for nutrition, ingredients, health and wellbeing. Knowledge of food safety guidelines is also advantageous although full training will be provided.

- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Confident presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
