**About the role**

You will be a Senior Systems Engineer in Aerospace Engineering is responsible for the efficient, safe and effective conduct of specific evaluation, test and / or trial activities. In the main, this will typically encompass Air platform Certification, Qualification,Performance and Operability domains, where Senior Engineers will provide specialist scientific or technical advice and consultation. These tasks require solution definition effort and will be delivered in an Integrated Capture (Bidding) and / or Delivery Teamin accordance with the associate Project Delivery Plan.**Within the Mission Systems domain these activities will typically be conducted on a wide variety of operational systems, such as Complex Electronic Hardware, Communications, Navigation & Identification, Displays, Controls and Mission Systems, as well as Sensorsystems and their integration into the air platform etc. This Senior Systems Engineer role will allow the opportunity to work on different aircraft platforms, ranging from Combat aircraft, Helicopters, Large Transport / Reconnaissance to Unmanned air platforms.

The roles being advertised are specifically looking for experience on Military Aerospace Mission Systems, but other Mission System platform experience will be considered if it is appropriate to the Knowledge, Skills and Experience detailed below

**What do I need?**
- The Senior Systems Engineer will preferably be from a Defence background though a high level of civilian aviation work would also be considered.
- You must experience of working through the full Systems Engineering Lifecycle.

**What will I be doing?**
- You will be completing Certification, Evaluation and Testing, Design and Modification, and giving customers feedback.
- The Senior Engineer will be having consultations with senior stakeholders and other companies and MOD.
- You will be working with other QQ domains on projects to ensure exacting results for the customer.
