Cabinet Maker

**Duties**:

- Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials to construct cabinets according to specifications
- Assemble cabinets using hand tools and power tools.
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides
- Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
- Collaborate with clients or designers to determine cabinet design and functionality
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets as needed - Frequent use of machinery - Panel Saw and Edgebander - Wrap Cabinets and Panels securely to protect before transportation
- Assist in loading materials onto delivery trucks - Keep a clean working environment at all times

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
- Ability to use Panel Saw and Edgebander with precision and confidence
- Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with different types of wood and their characteristics
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Experience**:

- Cabinet Making: 1 year (required)
- Machining: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Dukinfield (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Dukinfield: Relocate before starting work (required)
