Caremark Newcastle is recruiting **Care assistants** for domiciliary care services across Newcastle. We can offer you:

We are looking for passionate individuals wishing to make a difference to People's lives. You will be well supported, working in a friendly environment to provide high quality, consistent care to our clients. This work will be varied as we establish our care service.

Caremark is a rapidly expanding care service and gained a rating of GOOD in February 2021 with CQC.

**Hours**: Full time, Part time, Permanent.

**Pay**: Up to £11.20 an hour

**Training**: All provided and is mandatory for the role

**Location**: Community based with work available in Newcastle

**Responsible to: Field Care Supervisor**

**Job Purpose**: To enable our customers, lead a healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Listening and responding appropriately to client needs and any changes
- To assist customers in maintaining their personal care and hygiene
- Helping customers to prepare food, eat and drink
- Accompanying customers to appointments and activities
- Supporting customers to access public transport
- Sleep-ins at customer's homes
- Assisting customers with medication in accordance with care plans
- Liaising and cooperating with colleagues and attending team meetings
- Helping to maintain health and safety

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
