**Wash Plant - Wareham**

**WORKING AT OUR MASTERS QUARRY, THE ROLE IS AN IDEAL POSITION FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SELF-MOTIVATED AND ENJOYS WORKING OUSTIDE OPERATING AN AGGREGATE WASH PLANT FOR SAND AND GRAVEL.**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the main responsibilities and duties are to operate the sand and gravel wash plant, working as part of the wider team to ensure materials and stockpiles are transported around the site and are free of contamination, and assist in the maintenance of mobile and static plant. As well as helping to keep the site tidy and clean for customers.

**Duties will include**:

- Starting and stopping of the process plant.
- Regular maintenance of the process plant to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operation.
- Fill out defect sheets on process plant daily.
- Check and record screen media in accordance with schedule.
- Ensure process plant is kept clean and free of excess spillage.
- Ensure the workshop area and tools are kept clean and free of mess.
- Grease the process plant in accordance with the schedule/manufacture’s handbook.
- Responsible for ordering and holding essential spare parts for the process plant.
- Follow production schedule/targets as set by the quarry manager.
- Liaise daily with the quarry manager on all production matters.

To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Standard hours of work will be 07:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturday working 07.00 - 12.00 at overtime rate for maintenance as required.
