**The Details**
Our Apprentice scheme is an 18-month long learning and development programme. The day job as a trainee Engineer, where you’ll learn from our amazing tech teammates as you work, is coupled with top quality classroom-based training, starting with the Level 3 Information Communication Technician standard.
You’ll get to work with the latest technology and techniques to deliver hosting solutions and manage servers along with working on some of the biggest 3rd party products in the industry. You will also complete vendor recognised qualifications (Linux, ITIL, CompTIA, LPI, AWS and Azure) on top of your IT Apprenticeship.
Your day job will be with one of our core technical support teams who are the first point of contact for all customer queries and issues. The team works at pace to resolve issues quickly whilst giving the most amazing customer service - always looking to go one better. With quality of work, attention to detail and reliability being part of the core beliefs and foundations of the team, essential to meeting the demands of this ever-changing department.
If you’re prepared to put in the work, fast forward 18 months and you’ll have an accredited City & Guilds Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, plus real-world work experience - brilliant huh? Not that we like to blow our own trumpet but, over the last 4 years, 100% of our apprentices have passed their apprenticeship, with 79% achieving a distinction rate (compared to 29% nationally). At the ANS Academy we’ll give you the right support to reach your full potential.
**What you will do**

You’ll investigate and take ownership of the necessary actions to acknowledge and resolve within the service level agreements (SLAs)
Use industry recognised tools to manage incidents, changes and problems
Keep customers updated what the situation is, what you are doing and when issues are resolved - provide world class support

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths, English, and ICT (Information Communications Technician)
The ability to be taken through the United Kingdom Security Vetting with the UK Government to work within our public sector platforms
Minimum of 5 years as a UK resident for government clearance

**What else?**
You’ll work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday at our Manchester campus and in return you’ll get a competitive Apprenticeship salary. After 12 Months you will be called upon to complete weekend shifts. You will also have the opportunity to complete 24/7 shift work
