CDD Services provides a procurement service for County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys.

The Operations and Logistics Supervisor is part of the CDD Procurement Team and is responsible for the operational management of the Inventory management service.

The post holder is part of the CDD Services Procurement team and works closely with all procurement, purchasing and inventory management staff within CDD Services to ensure the achievement of agreed inventory management KPIs. The post holder is responsible for the line management of the Materials Managements team leaders.

The post holder will work closely with the Clinical procurement team and the Clinical Nurse Specialist to ensure the smooth and efficient introduction of new products and product switches.

The post holder must have an in-depth knowledge of all roles within the Inventory Management Service to ensure consistency of approach and for business continuity purposes to ensure that all positions within the team can be appropriately covered.
