**Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Worker Required
- Bank Staff (Self-employed)**
**Looking for female Support Worker for a lovely, young woman with special needs.**
**This role is 2:1 based within the community and training will be supplied as required.**
**Must have a full UK driving licence.**
This job involves spending time with a young woman called Abs who is 28 years old. Abs has various disabilities including Autism, Cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and Borderline Personality Disorder. Abs is also double incontinent and requires personal care throughout the day as well as administering medication. Alongside these conditions Abs has a Non-Epileptic Seizure Condition. Abs does experience episodes of low blood sugar which is managed by testing regularly and following the care plan in place. This role involves befriending Abs, doing her personal care, taking her out to the day centre, the cinema, which she loves, the theatre, theme parks and swimming. You could also be with Abs at home, getting her ready, providing food, playing UNO alongside some light household duties. **(On a 1:1 basis).**
Abs loves watching films, playing on Sims and she has a lovely personality. This role will involve admin tasks such as phoning the doctors and planning trips. When starting, you will have shadowing days with our Senior SEN Support Worker. Abs lives in Bracklesham with her partner (who works full-time).
**A clear DBS is required/provided if necessary.**
**Pay: £13 per hour weekdays. £15 per hour weekends. (Primarily weekdays with potential weekend and evening work; possibly overnight)**
**Job Type**: Part-time
