As a care assistant spending time with clients in their own homes, your primary responsibilities will be:

- To offer support with our individuals day-to-day routine.
- This could include: assisting with personal hygiene and grooming routines, as well as providing nutritious meals and snacks, at regular intervals throughout the day.
- Ensuring that you are aware of the client's changing health needs.
- Provide necessary support to ensure that they maintain good mental health and physical well-being.
- Offer emotional and practical support, whilst demonstrating an awareness on identifying risks and minimizing those, to ensure both a safe living and working environment.
- Ensure that all clients are treated with respect, dignity, and understanding.
- Supporting clients in their own home by assisting with domestic house hold tasks.
- Assisting with manual handling.
- Support with medication, hydration, and nutritional routines.
- Promoting client independence.
- Provide companionship and access to the community.
- Ability & initiative to work alone or as part of a team.
- To attend all: classroom training, yearly updates, team meetings, supervisions and annual appraisals.
