**_Petrofac is currently looking to recruit an Advisor I - HSE on a PAYE contract basis for 4 months located in Aberdeen, Seagreen Offshore, UK._**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide Health, Safety, and Environmental advice for offshore based employees in accordance with Petrofac and Client/Employer HSE requirements
- Assist with developing/updating HSE plans (including HSE induction pack) that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as Client requirements in coordination with Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) / Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) Manager.
- Keep a track of offshore training records and offshore medical fitness to work certificates of employees and ensure that refresher training is scheduled before lapse of validity of offshore training certificates
- Ensure HSE induction, training, toolbox meetings, and drills are scheduled along with OIM and implemented as part of the training and HSE program, i.e., emergency response systems, etc. (Reports to be generated upon completion and comments from attendees to be incorporated for improvement). Among training, also Incident Management Team (IMT) to be carried out and report shared with Security and ERCM Manager (quarterly).
- Verify that all employees, subcontractors, visitors, etc. are familiar with their roles and responsibilities outlined in the Emergency Response Plan and/or Station Bill. Comply with Project specific emergency response plan and/or station bills during emergencies and/or drills.
- Where required, support in meet and greet of personnel on-board (radio communication, specific PPE provision/collection, escorting and introduction to offshore facility)
- Investigate and complete the process for close out of all accident investigation reports and prepare/submit lessons learned for promulgation to the management. Ensure communication with all parties is timely implemented as per ERP instructions and Client requirements
- Plan, advise and oversee day-to-day HSE activities in coordination with OIM/HUC Manager.
- Application of hazard identification and risk assessment processes in designated areas of responsibility and implementation of appropriate control measures to reduce the risks to ALARP.
- When required, develop/amend Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for specific activities and ensure all risks associated to the specific task are addressed and considered into the next PTW before starting the shift (ALARP principle always to be in place)
- Ensure HSE requirements are communicated to all relevant personnel in designated areas of responsibility and verify compliance by all appropriate means (meetings, inspections, monitoring, and audits).
- Promote HSE awareness and campaigns. Ensure HSE notice board is filled with relevant information (project related and Lessons Learned from other projects relevant for the specific SoW, and Company Policies (to be communicated to all on-board personnel))
- Participate fully and openly in all compliance assurance audits, inspections, performance meetings, etc.
- Carry out other related tasks as advised by the supervisor.
- Support in the process of PTW coordination and PTW surveillance to ensure that the PTW system is duly implemented without any deviation (random check of T-card system or other head count system in place)
- Support in the induction process of any newcomers on board.
- Carry out periodic performance evaluations of subcontractors as instructed by HSSE Manager and based on format provided by Company
- Maintain the documents as per Company’s requirements (folder management in line with 13 HSE elements) and liaise with Department Administrator to ensure all HSE data are duly uploaded in Company shared drive.
- Must participate and promote the use of Stop Work Authority (SWA)
