The Healthcare Assistant will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of outpatient clinic settings as part of Outpatient Networks NHS insourcing services. The post-holder will assist clinicians and nursing staff in providing safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients attending elective outpatient appointments and minor procedures. Main Duties and Responsibilities Support clinical teams in the preparation and delivery of outpatient clinics. Assist with patient care activities, including observations, chaperoning, and supporting minor procedures under supervision.
Ensure clinic rooms and equipment are prepared, cleaned, and maintained in line with infection prevention and control standards. Provide reassurance and assistance to patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times. Accurately record and report patient information, following data protection and confidentiality policies. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
Comply with all Outpatient Network and NHS governance, safeguarding, and health and safety policies.
