Accounts Assistant

**IN2 Consult - Accounts Assistant - Full-time - Permanent - Chalgrove, Oxfordshire - Hybrid (2 days a week in office) - £27,000-£29,000**

IN2 Consult are currently supporting an e-commerce and retail business in their recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team. This role is 75% accounts payable focussed and is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a friendly and supportive team, whilst showcasing your own ability to problem solve and be proactive as well as develop your existing skill set into more senior finance duties.

**Responsibilities within this Accounts Assistant role**:

- Processing invoices
- Weekly payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Supporting with bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end; posting journals and accruals
- Chasing invoices
- Supporting the Finance Manager
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Finance Team

**Key skills required**:

- 3+ years of AP experience
- Strong understanding of Sage 50 is highly desirable
- Experience in working with banking transactions: reconciliation process from bank statements to credit card statements, PayPal etc.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to prioritise their workload
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- A personable, customer driven, people person with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and disciplined
