**Job Description - Broadband Administrator**

**Job Purpose**:To facilitate in the provision of fibre broadband across our portfolio through various providers in the market. Maintaining existing relationships with providers and negotiating terms with new ones. To continue creating a steady income stream.

**Key accountabilities**:
2. Deal with incoming payments and posting charges to Qube.

3. To read surveyor’s reports on the firestopping element of survey, and input on spreadsheet to assist Prop Man.

4. Thereafter inform managing agent of any fire stopping issues, store relevant documents on Qube, and update tracker.

5. Collate and update managing agents contact details for various providers upon request. Update Qube with any new information.

6. Keep regularly updated on Handover documents from various providers.

7. Liaise with managing agents, surveyors, and Internet Service Providers to facilitate the installation of broadband at developments.

8. Chase managing agents’ approval for planning pack approval, if provider requests.

9. Prioritise matters in the inbox to be dealt with.

10. To update, collate and create various spreadsheets and trackers

11. Liaise with internal departments to resolve any issues

**Skills**:
**Working with IT**: Comfortable in the Windows environment and able to show experience or knowledge of MS Word to an intermediate level and MS Excel at least to an advanced level.
Proficient in the use of Qube software, specially reports.

**Data input**: able to show reasonable accuracy and speed when entering data into a database, copying both from written and oral sources.

**Telephone customer service**: able to show the ability to communicate effectively over the phone, providing accurate information in a helpful manner, and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

**Problem solving**: able to investigate a query and suggest possible solutions.

**Organisational skills**: able to prioritise workload and multitask in a fast paced environment.
Able to manage own workload, keeping long and medium term goals in mind.

**Ability to use initiative**: After an initial training period, individuals will be expected to effectively recognise when they need to make a decision, and when assistance should be requested from a more experienced member of the team or management.

**Letter writing**: able to write professional letters, using both templates and writing ad-hoc letters. A high level of accuracy is required regarding the information provided in the letters, as well as an equally high level of grammar and punctuation.

**Working according to procedures**: able to perform their role, while adhering to specific company procedures at all times, requesting further training and assistance when necessary.

**Working in a team**: able to work in large and small teams productively and cooperatively with a variety of colleagues, and willing to take on new responsibilities as required within the team.

**Salary**: £23,200.00 per year
