We are recruiting for an Academic Support Administrative Assistant within our
- Team,_ to
- support the Academic Support Lead and Academic Support & Project Co-ordinator. _This is a fixed-term appointment for 6 months.

Your priorities will include:

- Provide administrative support for discipline activities including diary management for the Head(s) of Discipline within an agreed framework and adhering to relevant policies/procedures. Managing and effective brought forward system for correspondence and documentation including progress chasing as required
- Deal with queries into the relevant generic mailbox, using own initiative and judgement with referral to the Academic Support Lead or Academic Support & Project Co-ordinator as required
- Contribute to the change implementation for administrative related activities in line with the Business Transformation agenda
- Provide administrative support to key school wide projects including Athena SWAN, the Research Excellence Framework, Workload modelling and related activities

- Good interpersonal skills, including evidence of team working and the ability to be proactive in responding to the needs of staff and students
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail, producing work of consistently high standard and the ability to generate well written documentation
- Good liaison skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships with a wide range of individuals within the University
