The post holder will ensure all contractual obligations and targets are delivered

Responsible for the management of a wide range of soft FM contracts across the Trusts property portfolio.

Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operational management of soft FM contracts and services are effective, efficient, fit for purpose and meeting patient’s needs.

Responsible for the management of the range of Soft FM in house services

Providing direction and support for the strategic development of Estates and Facilities, assisting the Estates and Facilities Directorate management team with the implementation of specific projects and action plans in association with the Trust Strategic plan.

Work in collaboration with the Head of Soft FM Services and Contract Management team in future strategy and planning.

To take part in the preparation of annual business plan.

To assist the Head of Soft FM Services with the development of best practice in environmental management focusing on innovation in catering services to reduce carbon emissions and carbon footprint across the FM functions.

Activate contract KPI failures

Chair and approve actions and minutes of meetings with external contractors

Process and log contract variations

To manage and liaise with soft FM contractors.

Use customer feedback mechanisms to assess performance of contractors and to make recommendations which will improve the patient’s experience.

Responsible for ensuring staffing levels and outputs match the level of business and service required

Work in collaboration with contract management

Ensure effective financial controls in managing all soft FM budgets and assets so that budgetary targets are met.

Assist the Head of Soft FM Services with the development of fully worked up and costed business cases for the provision of facilities services, identifying appropriate suppliers and ensuring finance issues are dealt with promptly and professionally.

Responsible for authorising online orders using Oracle
