**Our Service**West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) and Public Health in Leeds commission the delivery of ‘Postvention’ services to support people bereaved by suicide across West Yorkshire. The services support people in the immediate aftermath of a suicide as well as historical losses. Postvention is an internationally evidenced way of reducing risk of suicide in people who have been affected in this manner. Interventions offered within this service include peer led support for individuals, within groups and for families with children, and memorial events.
**The Role**
The post holder will be required to provide administrative and data support, as well as undertaking office support which will include, health and safety tasks, ordering office supplies, meeting room set ups / preparation for meetings, postal duties, raising of purchase orders, general office administration tasks.
The post holder will be responsible for providing reception desk and phone cover across Leeds Mind on the occasions other services and functions require support.
The role will include:
- **Be the first point of contact for the service** responding to enquires and processing referrals
- **Maintaining IT systems & producing reports** including entering notes and analysing data
- **Undertake general office tasks** including managing the service inbox, ordering supplies and covering reception when required
**Essential Skills and Experience: - Personal experience of being affected by suicide.**
- Knowledge and awareness of your own support needs when sharing your own lived experience of being affected by suicide.
- Able to work calmly and effectively with people who have experienced grief and may be experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings.
- Respond to general enquiries, signposting to external information/services where appropriate.
- Liaise with professionals to clarify received referral information or respond to their queries/questions around referral.
- Make initial contact with people referring into service to book in telephone assessments within 3 working days of referral.

**Salary - £24,242 per annum pro rata**
**Contract - End of March 26**

**The role will be based in Leeds with some travel in West Yorkshire and some remote working from home.**
