**About the role**

With a history spanning over 50 years, Bournemouth Film School (BFS) sits at the heart of Arts University Bournemouth and brings together a variety of disciplines including Film Production, VFX, Costume, Make-up and Acting. The BA (Hons) Film Production and MA Film Practice courses are modelled on the contemporary film industry and contextualised by a philosophy of practical learning in an academic environment.

The Bournemouth Film School at AUB is looking for an experienced lecturer with general film production skills and experience to teach primarily on our vibrant BA (Hons) Film Production course. For the specific qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience in relation to the post please refer to the job description and person specification attached.

The successful applicant will have a track record in film production and significant experience teaching across at least one of the following areas; Producing, Directing, Production Design or General Filmmaking. You will also have experience of supervising student productions and assisting on and/or leading academic units.
